Three people from Algoma were injured late Thursday night when their vehicle went off the road, then caught fire in the town of Nasewaupee.

Jordyn Haile McAfee was traveling south on County S, north of Tagge Road, at 10:40 p.m. when the Chevrolet Lumina she was driving drifted onto the gravel of the west shoulder, according to a Door County Sheriff's Department accident report.

McAfee overcorrected and lost control, and her car struck a stump, then became airborne. It glanced off a large tree, then came down on top of a parked GMC Sonoma pickup truck in the driveway of 2067 County S belonging to ...
