The tears Jeri Krueger spilled after the man who murdered her daughter was sentenced to death said it all.

"Not for sadness, but the emotional release from three-and-a-half years plus dealing with the whole thing," said Krueger, 57, whose daughter, Staff Sgt. Amy Krueger, was killed in the November 2009 Fort Hood shooting.

"Just a flood came over me. I cried just out of pure relief." ...
