School Board reinstates KHS girls tennis season

The Kewaunee School Board reinstated the high school girls tennis season on Aug. 26 during its monthly meeting. The season had been canceled Aug. 16 based on a rule in the school athletic code.

The requirement is that for the tennis team to have a season, 12 athletes must have their proper documentation and fees turned in to the athletic director on the day before their first match. The WIAA currently rules that 10 athletes are required to make a squad.
