Algoma plays in the small division of the Olympian/Packerland Conference. But so far this high school football season it's packed an awfully big punch.

The Wolves took down an Olympian/Packerland large division team for the second consecutive week Friday night, beating Southern Door, 49-28, in a nonconference game at Southern Door. The Wolves defeated Sturgeon Bay, 33-13, in their season opener.

The Wolves (2-0) were unstoppable on the ground, racking up 429 yards on 39 carries. Senior halfback Sam Koss did most of that damage, rushing for 384 yards on 22 carries. ...
