Horseshoe Bay Farms have rich heritage

I had a good time looking at the barns and other buildings at Horseshoe Bay Farms this past weekend. I was privileged to take a personal tour given by Barbara Timmerman, who owns the barns along with her husband, Glenn.

I didn't have time to hear Glenn's talk but I am told he gives it to groups so I will watch the activity columns in the papers and hope to catch the talk. I have admired the barns from the road and even painted them, and it was a treat to learn about the history and see inside.

The Egg Harbor Historical Society and the Timmermans hosted the event, billed as "Taste of Egg Harbor." Parking next ...
