Packers cut QB Vince Young

The Green Bay Packers have seen enough of Vince Young to know the two-time Pro Bowler won't be their backup quarterback in 2013.

The Packers parted ways with the 30-year-old quarterback on Saturday as part of their NFL-mandatory roster reduction to 53 players today, a league source confirmed.

After spending the past year out of football, the Packers signed Young on Aug. 5 as competition for returning reserves Graham Harrell and B.J. Coleman. ...
