Seniors were feeling bittersweet and confident; freshmen were looking a bit wide-eyed and feeling apprehensive.

Wisconsin Rapids Assumption High School students returned to school Friday. With shortened schedules, the pre-first day event gives students a chance to re-acclimate to school, get an idea of what teachers are going to expect for the year and reconnect with friends. The rest of the Assumption Catholic Schools resume Tuesday.
