If there's one event that can encompass crafts and jewelry, music and food, paintings and sculptures and, of course, birds, it's Wausau's Artrageous Weekend, to be held Saturdayand Sept. 8 at various locations across the city.

The annual event, which consists of downtown Wausau's Festival of Arts, Art in the Park in Marathon Park and the opening of the "Birds in Art" exhibition at the Woodson Art Museum, provides a unique and valuable experience for art lovers, said Zoe Morning, coordinator of the Festival of Arts.

"I think it's great to devote an entire weekend to the arts," Morning said. ...
