IOLA - Alissa Niggemann finished third overall in the girls 4,000 meter race in 16 minutes, 43.17 seconds to help Amherst finish second in the team competition during Tuesday's Iola-Scandinavia Invite.

Emily Sether of Iola-Scandinavia was fourth in 16:55.85 and the Thunderbirds placed fifth.

Iola Scandinavia's Chase Przybylski was the top area finisher in the boys 5K as he placed 23rd overall in 19:18.99. Wittenberg-Birnamwood placed seventh overall. ...
