Quarterback Nick Kita has led a Gibraltar offense that's scored 136 points in its first two eight-man football games of the season. Kita has passed for 505 yards and seven touchdowns.
Gibraltar hosts Sevastopol Friday night in the first eight-man high school football game between the two Door County rivals.
The small neighboring schools switched to eight-man football this season because of declining participation and the constant struggle of fielding competitive teams.
