Racing: Champions crowned in final night at Thunderhill

Scott Reinhardt saved his best for last, holding off Shawn Havel for his first IMCA stock car feature win of the season on the final night of racing Saturday at Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay.

Other feature winners were James Tebon (IMCA modifieds), Dennis Miesler (IMCA sport mods), Bill Hayes (IMCA hobby stocks) and Mike Sargent (street stocks).

The season finale included a scary accident, when Cody Rass went barrel-rolling down the front stretch on the opening lap of the sport mod feature. Rass' car came to a halt on the driver side and the fuel cell was ripped out of the car and landed next ...
