Seventh annual Master Gardeners event takes place Saturday

The Door County Master Gardeners Association host their Taste of The Garden Door and seventh annual Pesto Festo from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at the University of Wisconsin Peninsular Agricultural Research Station, 4312 State 42, on the north side of Sturgeon Bay. Pesto "chefs" are being sought to take part in the competition.

The Garden Door is a public garden created and maintained by Master Gardeners volunteers in cooperation with the research station. It will be open for guests to walk around in during the event. There will be displays and tastings of vegetables, dips, grains, fruits and more, ...
