Extension employees mark years of service

Two long-time employees at University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Extension are being honored for their years of service.

Ann (Fisher) Kaiser, administrative secretary for UW-Extension staff, started her career in 1978. When she began, her equipment included a typewriter, White-Out, and a mimeograph machine, according to an UW-Extension press release.

The first computer in the office arrived in the 1980s and was shared by all staff. Later, one of Kaiser's duties was to print everyone's email messages on a dot matrix printer and distribute them. ...
