Three arrested for carrying concealed knives at soccer festival

Three Minnesota men were arrested for carrying concealed knives while at a soccer tournament over the weekend.

Oshkosh Police received a information about a disturbance at Winnebago County Park Saturday at 12:19 p.m. The information indicated three men were carrying knives, said Joe Nichols, spokesman for the Oshkosh Police Department.

Officers located the men and found that each man was carrying an 8-inch knife.

The men, an 18-year-old Minneapolis man, a 19-year-old Minneapolis man and 21-year-old St. Paul man, were arrested and taken to the Winnebago County Jail for carrying a concealed weapon.

They did not threaten anyone, Nichols said.
