A hamstring injury is still bothering Green Bay Packers cornerback Casey Hayward, who sat out of Wednesday's practice.
Hayward missed a good deal of training camp with a hamstring injury he originally hurt working out on his own in July.
Hayward reinjured the hamstring in the third preseason game against Seattle and hasn't been able to practice since.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy will provide a more detailed report on Hayward's injury after practice today at his press conference.
Hayward's absence could open the door for rookie Micah Hyde to see more action in the early part of the regular season. Sam Shields and Tramon Williams are the Packers' two best cornerbacks. Hyde and Davon House will likely battle for playing time as the third cornerback.
Everyone else on the 53-man roster was accounted for at today's non-padded practice.
