Lincoln Center offers classes and activities for older adults. The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Portage County is a one-stop resource for services for seniors, adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For information, call 715-346-1401 or 866-920-2525 or go to www.co.portage.wi.us/adrc.

Caregivers who can't get away to attend a regular support group are invited to participate via phone from their own homes in the Telephone Support Group for Caregivers from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. To register and for information on how to participate, call Kathy Hinks at 800-472-8008.

This week's RSVP volunteer opportunity: Volunteer escort drivers help community seniors remain in their homes and maintain their independence by assisting in providing transportation to necessary medical appointments. Drivers receive compensation for mileage, and schedules are flexible. Please call RSVP staff for more information.

Monday

7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: Walking Club.

8 a.m. to noon: Holly Shoppe posting.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Pool tables open play; computers for beginners; resistance chair exercise.

9:30 a.m.: Introduction to Medicare.

10 a.m.: Bunco.

10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Holly Shoppe open.

11:30 a.m.: Music by Chet Raflik.

12:30 p.m.: Bingo at Amherst dining site.

1 p.m.: Scrabble; bridge.

1 p.m.: Line dancing, beginner.

2 p.m.: Line dancing, intermediate

Lunch menu: Spaghetti, broccoli and cauliflower, mandarin oranges, French bread, garlic butter, animal crackers.

Tuesday

7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: Walking Club.

8:30 a.m.: Seniorobics.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Pool tables open play.

9:30 a.m.: Introduction to acrylic painting.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Holly Shoppe open.

10 a.m.: Healthy Eating.

10 a.m.: Fun & Fit exercise; Smear.

10:30 a.m.: Chair Massage.

11 a.m.: Arthritis Foundation exercise.

11:15 a.m.: Bingo at Plover dining site.

11:30 a.m.: Music by The Grenadiers.

12:30 p.m.: Bridge.

12:30 p.m.: Bingo at Hi-Rise dining site.

1 p.m.: Caregiver Telephone Support Group.

1 p.m.: Silver Threads Sewing Group; beginning bridge lessons.

3 p.m.: Walking Club.

5 p.m.: Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group.

Lunch menu: Salisbury steak, baked potato with sour cream, buttermilk coleslaw, whole grain dinner roll, tropical fruit salad.

Sept. 11

11:30 a.m.: Music by the Potocki Family Band.

12:30 p.m.: Bingo at Plover dining site.

1 p.m.: Round dancing.

2 p.m.: Square dancing.

3 p.m.: Walking Club.

Lunch menu: Sloppy Joe on a whole grain bun, Boston baked beans, cool marinated cucumbers, seasonal fruit.

Sept. 13
