A woman sentenced Thursday for her fifth drunk driving offense showed up drunk at her plea hearing.

Raquel Hurd, 44, of Rosholt was sentenced to four and a half years in prison, including two and a half years of initial confinement and the rest of the time on extended supervision.

Hurd was arrested on Oct. 11, after a witness saw her driving the wrong way down Main Street in Rosholt and driving erratically. According to a criminal complaint, a Portage County Sheriff's deputy pulled over Hurd after he observed her leave the Dollar Bill's Tavern in Rosholt, fail to use her signal, slow down to nearly ...
