Programs focus on oral history, Bird's Park

The Baileys Harbor Historical Society will have a busy week sponsoring two programs that the public is invited to attend. The society will be sponsoring two workshops on oral history for persons who would like to learn how to record family and community stories told by older family members.

The workshops taught by Steve Hey, emeritus professor of sociology from Williamette University in Salem, Ore., are scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Baileys Harbor Town Hall. Each workshop is limited to 10 people Call Steve Hey at (920) 839-2202 if you wish to attend.
