NFDL library hosts canine program

The Spillman Public Library is starting a new program called- "READ to a DOG" on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. Children may come in on this and many other early release dates to spend some time reading to one of two certified READ dogs at the library.

Other participating dates include: Wednesdays, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Feb. 12, March 12, April 9 and May 7. No meetings in December or January.

We encourage children in grades K-5 to participate.
