After tragedy, county tries to make Fonferek's Glen safer

A woman's tragic death last month has prompted Brown County to take added safety measures at the county park where she was fatally injured.

Workers have placed additional boulders to mark the edge of a rocky cliff at Fonferek's Glen, a county park along Bower Creek in Ledgeview. April Janssen of De Pere died after falling 40 feet on Aug. 12 as she tried to assist a teenager who had been injured when he fell about 10 feet onto some rocks.
