Five weeks ago, the prospect of Chris Banjo making the Green Bay Packers' 53-man roster appeared remote.

Brought in on the fourth day of camp, the 5-foot-10, 203-pound rookie safety had minimal knowledge of the defensive playbook. He was playing a position with three sure bets to make the roster and no certainty a fourth spot would be available.

However, Banjo's play kept him on the field as he wound up being one of the biggest underdog stories to make an NFL roster this year. ...
