Heartbreak has made itself at home in the Lehrke family.

When Jim and Linda Lehrke got together more than 30 years ago, they had six children between them.

By the time they got married in 1981, heartbreak had paid its first visit: Linda's daughter Kristin died of Reye's Syndrome in 1980, just before her seventh birthday. In 2003, Jim's 32-year-old daughter Jessica died of a heart aneurysm, leaving two young children. ...
