The new school year is bringing a new level of secuity to Oshkosh schools.

The Oshkosh school district is in the process of upgrading security in schools throughout the district with t he aim of increasing the safety of students and staff.

The district is converting building entryways into controlled access points, which through a system of locked doors and surveillance equipment, will allow school staff to screen visitors before they can enter the building. The visitor will ring a bell and a school staff member in the office will be able to get a visual image of the person through a camera ...
