The Clintonville Airport beacon, that faithfully shone every day from 1948 to 2010, has been given a second life and now is shining brightly at the new pier of Salvador Allende on the shores of Lake Managua, Nicaragua.

Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners, or W/NP, a private, non-profit and nonpartisan organization, has been bringing together volunteers for nearly 50 years who work together to find solutions to common problems, leverage international and local resources and provide technical training.
