UPDATE at end about new location.

Reader question: What happened to the store Man Cave on Richmond Street in Appleton? Did they close? Relocate? Any info will be helpful. It was one of my husbandís favorite stores.

Answer: Man Cave Headquarters, a shop that carried items for home bars, had been at 2107 N. Richmond St. in Appleton. It closed around April or May.

I havenít been able to find any relocation information. The phone is disconnected and its Facebook page is dormant. If readers know where it landed and let me know, Iíll post an update in a future column.

In the meantime, that building is coming back to life with an entirely different business. Watch for more information in a future Buzz column.

UPDATE 9/16

On Thursday, word came that Man Caveís owner, Richard Sturm, had just signed a lease to reopen the store at a new address, 2235 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Grand Chute. Itís at the corner of Perkins Street in a storefront that previously had been a check-cashing store.

Sturm said he was in the process of moving inventory into the new place from where he had it stored in Medina. ďI hope to be open by Friday,Ē he said. Contact: 920-986-1234.
