Little Niall and his brothers, Liam and Zayn have come to Clark County Humae Society, CCHS, in search of a home. This little guy is 10 weeks old. He is a unique mix of Jack Russell and German Shepherd. He's full of pep, love, playfulness and is as cute as can be. If you have room in your heart and home for him, or any of the other pets here, please go to the website and check out the pictures and descriptions of them. There are 44 cats and kittens and 32 dogs and puppies here now. Surely we will have one that would be just right for you. Check them all out at www.cchs-petshelter.org/id8.html
Free Dogs and Cats! We have been delighted with this new program and have decided to keep it going indefinitely. So many dogs and cats have found homes quickly because of it. The adoption fees have been removed for most cats over 6 months of age and many of the adult dogs! Stop during our open hours of noon to 3 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to see what we have. Fill out an application and you may be taking home your new best friend, for free! Don't miss out on this great opportunity!
Have Some Fun! Stop in just to visit. If you've not been to a shelter because you felt it would be a sad, dreary, dead-end place, you really need to stop in at CCHS. This shelter is a bright, clean and happy place where the pets are well-cared for and loved while they wait for their new homes. CCHS is proud to be a no-kill shelter. Come to visit and join us in our life-saving work.
We need a volunteer to clean Kitty City and cat cages from 8 a.m. to noon on Mondays or Fridays.
