Sheboygan city officials voted to recommend allowing a start-up softball organization to host its upcoming tournament at the Wildwood Athletic Park softball complex despite objections from the Sheboygan Softball Association.

City officials briefly discussed the matter at the Public Works Committee Meeting Tuesday night.

"We can authorize for this organization to have a tournament," said Ald. Joseph Heidemann, chairman of the committee. "We're not dealing with the status of the two organizations. We're not dealing with anything else between the two." ...
