Lincoln Center offers classes and activities for older adults. The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Portage County is a one-stop resource for services for seniors, adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers. Dr. John A. Johnkoski, cardiothoracic surgeon at Aspirus Heart and Vascular Institute, will present on the latest treatment options for atrial fibrillation at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lincoln Center. To register, call 715-346-1401.

This week's RSVP volunteer opportunity: Assist third-graders in Portage County schools who are struggling to gain competence in their reading skills by volunteering as a reading tutor. RSVP reading tutors work in nearly every school in Portage County, and the benefits of their involvement is well documented. If you enjoy working with children, this could be a very rewarding opportunity for you. Contact RSVP staff for more information.
