Program tells about volunteer openings at schools

United Way RSVP of Marathon County invites community members of all ages to attend the September Coffee Hour to learn about many volunteering opportunities with the Wausau School District. The event will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Longfellow Administration Center, 415 Seymour St., Wausau.

The program will provide information on volunteering as a reading tutor, classroom aide, mentor, office assistant and more. Big Brothers Big Sisters will also provide information on opportunities for mentoring youth.

Contact United Way RSVP at 715-848-2927 for more information or if you have questions about volunteering.
