EDITOR: I was pleased to find the article on the Rosenberry Inn's new ownership on the front page of the Daily Herald Media print edition. When I was a candidate for the pulpit of the Universalist Unitarian Church in 1990, I stayed at the Rosenberry. I enjoyed my stay there: the breakfasts, the family running the inn then.

In June, my daughter and her husband came from Florida for a week to help me celebrate my 80th birthday. They stayed at the Rosenberry Inn just after Krista Salas assumed ownership. A young woman named Jenny was managing the inn. My daughter said Jenny did a "really great job." They enjoyed their room, its comforts, their breakfasts and the Rosenberry's proximity to downtown where they could walk to explore the shops, restaurants, river activities and more
