A longtime strip club in downtown Green Bay is on its way to becoming a parking lot, as city officials bring down the curtain on adult entertainment in the central business district.

The Body Shop, a tavern and strip club at 418 N. Monroe Ave., was demolished Thursday in a move that some cheered and others lamented.

Known for its adult-themed entertainment that included "Amateur Night" every Wednesday, the Body Shop had grown into somewhat of a dubious institution in Green Bay's downtown. ...
