Outagamie County's damage estimate from August's destructive storms has grown, and officials continue to identify people who are having difficulty affording repairs.

The Local Emergency Planning Committee on Friday reviewed the response to the severe weather outbreak and the recovery efforts that followed. The storms, which began late Aug. 6 and carried into Aug. 7, included six tornadoes. About 60,000 We Energies customers lost power for an extended period of time.
