Second student reports being followed by stranger

Incident comes after similar cases near UWO

Oshkosh authorities are urging parents to make informed decisions about whether their children should walk to school or home alone after a second student in a week was approached by a stranger.

They also are urging caution in the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus area after three women reported being followed home and pursued by men. They do not think the student and campus area cases are related.

In the latest case, an 11-year-old girl got off the bus at the intersection of Rosalia Street and Winnebago Avenue earlier this week and was walking home when she noticed a man following her. ...
