Jan Williams was aware that new security measures were in place when he traveled to Lambeau Field for the Aug. 23 preseason game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks.

But the Neenah resident didn't realize just how restrictive the new policies were.

Williams, a season ticket holder since 1995, was informed by a security officer that he wouldn't be able to take his binoculars case into the stadium because of an NFL-wide mandate that limits the size and makeup of bags and containers.
