Waid Funeral Home will sponsor a free polka worship service, called "Live for the Day," Sept. 21 at Les & Jim's Lincoln Lanes in Merrill.

The Rev. Greg Laska will officiate a non-denominational service. Gene Lettau and the II Edition Polka Band from Wittenberg will provide the melodies for your listening and dancing pleasure. The service will begin at 4 p.m., with music continuing until 8 p.m.

An old-fashioned lunch will be served immediately after the service.

The collection money will be used to sponsor a Never Forgotten Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., for a local veteran. There will also be a collection for nonperishable food items to assist in replenishing our local food pantry.

Reserve a spot todayby calling 715-536-4646, so that we may better prepare.
