Former stay-at-home mom prepares for empty-nesting

After spending years as a stay-at-home mom, Mari Stein now works to ensure other young people have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in business and in life.

Stein, 55, of Wausau is a district director for Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, an organization that teaches valuable economic and business skills to students in the area. Stein volunteered for years in parent teacher organizations and for special events at the schools her sons attended.
