A potluck meal will kick off Elvedal's fall regular meeting schedule. You are reminded to bring your own tableware and a dish to pass. The 6 p.m. dinner will be followed by Chia Khang's presentation on the Hmong journey and culture and a brief business meeting. Elvedal meets at Huntington House, 2521 10th St. S., Wisconsin Rapids.

The Barne Norsk Klubb will meet during the regular meeting. This is the youth Nordic Club for members children and grandchildren ages 5 to 12.

The Luren Singers, a 65-member Norwegian-American male chorus, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. There is no charge for this cultural event co-sponsored by Central Wisconsin Sons of Norway lodges.

For information on our local group, call President Karen Brinkman, 715-423-4822.
