Marshfield church achieves green certification

The Green Team of First Presbyterian Church has achieved recertification as an Earth Care Congregation.

In 1990, the church's General Assembly approved Restoring Creation for Ecology and Justice. The 2010 General Assembly reaffirmed this call to "Restore Creation." We as a congregation recognize that restoring creation is part of our life and mission. More than 109 churches were certified as Earth Care Congregations in 2012, among these, three were Presbyterian congregations in Wisconsin.
