Cookout benefits fire department

Stevens Point Care Center, Point Manor and Riverview Lodge hosted a Cookout for a Cause on July 24. The community was invited to help the campus raise money for the Stevens Point Fire Department. With the help of the community, the Stevens Point Care Center, Point Manor and Riverview Lodge raised $346 to help the fire department to purchase additional emergency supplies.

"We had a really good turnout for this event and we are excited that the community was generous with their time and donations," said Austin Miloszewicz, administrator of Stevens Point Care Center.
