No one injured in fire at nursing home

An alert passerby is credited with alerting firefighters of a fire on the roof of a nursing home on the city's east side.

Troy Haase, Division Chief of Fire Prevention, said a passing motorist spotted the flames on top of ManorCare Health Services, 265 S. National Avenue at 5:27 a.m. Tuesday morning.
