Jeff Beyer, Mantowoc County's Public Works director, told supervisors at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday night, "There are some projects that simply can't be deferred any longer."

"We have a comprehensive, written preventive maintenance program ... used daily, weekly, monthly to inspect all equipment, buildings, building systems and grounds," Beyer reported.

"It is reality that the wide range of potential expenditures recommended over the years as both Capital Outlay and Capital Improvements are easy to cut or not include in the budgets as they are a soft target," Beyer ...
