The Marshfield Clinic Auction of Champions last year took on the challenge of saving lives by raising money to subsidize the installation of tractor rollover protection structures, or ROPS, for 100 Wisconsin farm families.

The Marshfield Clinic National Farm Medicine Center, or NFMC, rebate program, which reimburses farmers for 70 percent of the cost of a ROPS, up to $865, got off to a good start when the 2012 auction raised $43,450 for the installation of tractor rollbars.
