Judge: Drug dealer used up chances, needs time in prison

An Oshkosh man with a long criminal history that includes multiple convictions for dealing drugs will spend time in prison used up his chances for reform, a judge said Tuesday.

Winnebago County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Gritton sentenced Danny M. Brocks Jr., 32, to 10 years in prison followed by 10 years of extended supervision Tuesday for a conviction of manufacture/delivery of more than 40 grams of cocaine, not only for the seriousness of the crime, but also because a judge doesn't believe he has any desire to make positive changes in his life.
