Taxes, government spending dominate Tea Party forum

All four Republican candidates for the 69th Assembly District, the position held since 1998 by Scott Suder, want lower taxes, less government spending and think education needs to be drastically reformed.

The candidates - Tom Dahlen, Alanna Feddick, Bob Kulp and Scott Noble - appeared at a forum hosted by the Central Wisconsin Tea Party on Tuesday night at the Eagles Club in Marshfield, where they spent about 90 minutes taking questions from the audience. The main topic discussed was how to get government out of citizens' lives.
