It compiles that data into school 'report cards,' giving administrators, teachers and the public a chance to hold districts more accountable. All of the schools in the Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa, Port Edwards and Pittsville school districts have met or exceeded the expectations of state educational leaders, a new set of reports show.

In its second round of school report cards, which were released this morning, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, or DPI, rated the Wisconsin Rapids School District as a whole as meeting expectations, although its 72.6 out of 100 score fell just 0.4 points away from the "exceeds expectations" classification, said Kathi Stebbins-Hintz, the district's curriculum and instruction ...
