The Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church, 310 First Ave. S., seeks donations of books, DVDs and CDs for its annual sale. Items will be collected until Oct. 2. If the door is unlocked at the church, take your books downstairs. If the church door is locked, deposit them in the bin next to the door.

The church will use the proceeds from the sale for local and denominational benevolence and mission projects. Books that aren't sold will be donated to several local projects as well as Open Books in Chicago, which uses its proceeds to support literacy programs.

This year's community book sale will be 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 and 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 5 at the Moravian Church. Call 715-423-0180 with questions.
