Sturgeon Bay beat St. Mary Central, 3-2, and Gibraltar/Sevastopol defeated Roncalli, 5-1, Monday in Packerland Conference high school boys soccer games.

AT STURGEON BAY: The host Clippers got a little breathing room on a goal by Noah Giese in the 46th minute and held on to beat St. Mary Central.

"This is one of the teams that I was worried about from the start because they have a lot of seniors, they're big and physical, they have some pretty fast kids up top, and they have a very good goalie," said Clippers coach Todd Maas. "We played a good game, probably one of the better ones this year." ...
