Following her second-round defeat Wednesday at the Senior Wrestling World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Alyssa Lampe could do nothing but wait.

The Tomahawk native needed Eri Tosaka of Japan to reach the finals of the 105.5-pound division for Lampe to be placed in the consolation bracket and have another chance at a medal.

That meant waiting through two rounds of matches. ...
