At Kimberly, the Papermakers scored 28 points in the second quarter to break away after a slow start.

Scott Schreiber threw four touchdown passes in the game, including three in the second quarter. Schreiber completed 15 of 20 passes for 214 yards.

Jake Johnson caught two touchdown passes and finished with seven catches for 54 yards.

The Kimberly defense held Kaukauna to 139 yards.

Appleton East 35, Wausau East 10

At Wausau, Appleton East rushed for 230 yards as it snapped a two-game losing streak.

The Patriots, who led 21-10 at halftime, rushed 26 times in the second half, with sophomore Cole Krause getting half of those carries for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Junior Gabe Heindel sparked the Patriots in the first half, as he caught a 79-yard touchdown pass and rushed for 96 yards on nine carries, including a 48-yard score after Wausau had closed to within 14-10.

"This is a big win," Heindel said. "It's on the road and stakes were against us - it's their homecoming. I'm extremely proud of our offensive line. They really stepped it up this game."

At Neenah, Jake Resch passed for 318 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Rockets.

Three unanswered second-quarter touchdowns allowed the Cardinals to build an 18-point halftime lead.

Resch's two touchdown passes came in the second half, with both going to Taulvish McCray, who finished with four catches for 77 yards.

C.J. Van Dyke led the Rockets with 114 yards receiving on six catches.
