One by one they fell.

First Freedom's Nathan Peters, one of the top running backs in the state, went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter and did not return. His backup, Isaac Gonnering, also went down with a back injury late in the first half and did not return.

Then there was quarterback Andrew Connelly, who played the entire second half limping around on one leg, staying in the game because backup quarterback Seth Doxtater was pressed into duty as the third running back. ...
